2019 has been a breakthrough year for Indhuja, who had a very busy year with four releases including the end of the year blockbuster Bigil. She looks set to continue her hot streak with a further 3 confirmed movies to be released in 2020, including RJ Balaji’s debut directorial venture Mookuthi Amman.
Indhuja is set to play a pivotal role in the film which will see Nayanthara play the titular character of Amman. Nayanthara is returning to play the lead character in a film after the success of Airaa last year.
Indhuja had to act her parts in the movie during a shooting session in Nagercoil and has finished her portions of the film. She has since returned to Chennai, and she would be eagerly anticipating the releases of her other two projects of 2020; A Senthilkumar’s Khaki, where she will be playing the lead alongside Vijay Antony, and Netrikann, which also coincidentally stars Nayantara. Netrikann will be directed by Vignesh Sivan.
Mookuthi Amman will not only mark RJ Balaji’s directorial debut but also will be helming the screenplay and dialogue. He also is reportedly playing a crucial role in the film.
Although no release date has been confirmed, it is set to hit the theatres in summer this year.
