While Baahubali and Bhalla Deva were actual brothers, Prabhas and Rana were much better brothers than them. While the movie characters fought each other to their deaths, Prabhas and Rana supported each other, pulled each others legs and once Rana even made a matrimonial advertisement for his bro. They are so close, that once Prabhas revealed that he missed Rana a lot when he was not present at the sets. The two have a lot of fun on the sets. Rana too is equally fond of Prabhas. He said during the audio launch of Baahubali 2, “Prabhas will forever be my favourite co-star, no matter how many films I do in my entire lifetime.”
They share a healthy bro-bond together. Once, Rana tried to pull a prank on Prabhas by calling him up and saying that he was stuck with the police. But Prabhas immediately told him, “Tell the police that you are in Baahubali 2 as my companion and they will leave you.” Though the prank failed big time, you are not true bros if you don’t play pranks on each other.
Both Rana and Prabhas truly admire each others talent. They do not forget to praise each other. In an interview with IANS, Rana said, “What Prabhas has done for the film and what he has given is far greater than any of us could have done.” They are always there for each other.
They help each other out and do not shy away in defending one another. Rana dismissed the rumors of other actors being seeked out for the role originally and pointed out that Baahubali was made specifically with Prabhas in mind.
Despite being top actors, they do not compete with each other. Prabhas bought the theatrical rights for Rana’s The Ghazi Attack in the US for Rs 2 crores. They support each other and have no kind of rivalry between them.
They are true best friends and know a whole deal about each others lives. Rana revealed in an interview with indiatimes.com that Prabhas is awkward around his female fans and is extremely lazy off the sets. Only true friends know their friend’s deepest secrets.
