She is a great example of beauty and brains!

The 2017 Miss World took place in China and much to everybody’s excitement India’s Manushi Chhillar from the originating from the state of Haryana won the title. The crown has come to our country after 17 years with the last being Priyanka Chopra in the year 2000. The model from Haryana faced tough competition from aspirants of countries like France, England, Mexico, and Kenya.

However, it wasn’t a piece of cake for the diva. She was asked five different questions which won her the title now. Here are the questions and answers:

In one round, she was asked about her opinion on which profession deserves the highest salary. Her brilliant answer was applauded by everyone. She replied that although motherhood cannot be measured by salary, the love and affection she gets in return compensates for it. Hence it should be identified as the highest paying profession. Her answer got her maximum points.

“I think a mother deserves the highest respect and when you talk about salary it’s not always about cash but I feel it’s the love and respect that you give to someone. My mother has always been the biggest inspiration in my life. All mothers sacrifice so much for their kids. So, I think it is the job of a mother that deserves the highest salary.”

Similar questions were asked of all the candidates. Miss England Stephanie Hill answered the judges that she would speak about the inconsistency of global healthcare with if she got a chance to meet global leaders while Miss France Aurore Kichenin when asked about the greatest invention of the world, mentioned transport as it enables communication all over the world.

However, miss Kenya Magline Jeruto was unable to give any proper solution to end cyber-bullying when she was asked about it.

She answered that it is one of the major problems of the world and it should be ended. Her reply failed to impress the judges. Miss Mexico Andrea Meza was asked about the most important quality a Miss world should possess. She mentioned love. The winner of the competition should lover herself and the world.

Out of all the candidates, Manushi Chhillar impressed everyone the most. She was crowned by Stephanie Del Valle, the last winner of the competition. Reita Faria was the first Indian to win this competition back in 1966. Chhillar has carried on the tradition which saw previous Miss World winners like Aishwariya Rai (1994), Diana Haydon (1997) and Yukta Mookhey (1999).
