JFW’s Weekly Fashion Report Card: Hits And Misses Of The Week Gone By!

It is that time of the week again, we bring to you our pick of good, bad and ugly from the South Indian film industry. From attending promotions to audio launches, these ladies have a runway carpet just for their super-stylish wardrobes. Let’s check out how well dressed or not these ladies were this week:

Tamannaah

Promotions for her latest movie are in full swing and Tamannaah makes a stunning appearance at each one of them. Wearing an off shoulder Self Potrait Jumpsuit, hair let loose in light curls and classic black sling-black pumps, she definitely ruled the fashion runway this week.

Amala Paul

For the Celebrity Badminton League launch event at Chennai, Amala wore a mini dress by Kartikeya and paired it with sleek straight hair and pointy pumps. We are quite disappointed with her choice. While the shoes and hair are on point, the dress simply doesn’t work, the collar and the mesh neckline are a clear disaster.

Taapsee Pannu

We love love love Taapsee at the moment. The brilliant performance in Pink is unforgettable. Look at her now donning the most amazing ensembles with so much ease and grace. Here she is spotted wearing a dress by Samatvam by Anjali Bhaskar and gladiator sandals by London Rebel UK.

Samanatha

While we love the color and the dramatic appeal of the cape, we can’t really decide whether this look is the best that Samantha could have done. The color complements her peachy skin but we think the look would have worked without the cape.

Shruti Haasan

For the audio launch of premam in this gorgeous @monishajaising gown???

For the audio launch of Premam, Shruti a beautiful gown by Monisha Jaising. Contrary to the role she plays in the film, Shruti went all out in a sexy dress and just the hair and accessories to go with it. Loving how high fashion is taking over the South Indian film industry.
