With a lot of excitement, we announce JFW Movie Awards – a one-of-a-kind initiative that celebrates the success of women and women-oriented films in Tamil cinema for the year 2018. With over 12 categories, JFW Movie Awards is all about celebrating not just the women on screen but those off-screen too along with films that put a conscious effort in featuring women in the right light, who are given equal footage on screen and command their own screen presence with well-written characters.

Bearing in mind their exception skills and contribution to the betterment of Tamil cinema, these are the categories:

Best Actress in a Lead Role

Best Actress in a Supporting Role

Best Actress in a Comic Role

Best Actress in a Negative Role

Best Debutante

Best Child Artist

Best Playback Singer

Best Dubbing Artist

Best Costume Designer

Best Women-Centric Film

Best Director of a Women-Centric Film

 

In addition, there will be three other categories chosen by critics.
