Rana has always talked about enjoying his new phase of life. In a recent interview with Pinkvilla, Rana has expressed how marriage has changed him as a person. “It’s fun and great..a part of me has settled and is happy…all the mad energy has kind of tamed…It feels good..I’m growing up,” the actor said.
He further talked about his upcoming multilingual film Kaadan. “The weight became the by-product of what all we did. This film came when I did Baahubali. I was a different human being then, in terms of size. In the first look test, I looked much bigger and Prabhu sir didn’t like it at all. he said this not how the man in the jungle looks like. Right from losing weight to growing beard, and being unkept was the first drill,” said the actor.
Rana Daggubati’s love life has always been a hot topic in the industry. All speculations were finally put to rest when the Baahubali actor took to Instagram to announce his engagement with Miheeka Bajaj. The actor in a live session with actor-producer Lakshmi Manchu opened up about his engagement and upcoming plans for the wedding.
“It’s the person that’ll make you do that,” he told Lakshmi when asked about what made him realise that he was ready to ‘settle down’. “You meet the right person and good things happen and you say go ahead,” he said with a grin.
The beautiful love story has now gone into its new phase – marriage. The couple tied the knot on 8th August. It was an elegant intimate wedding in the presence of only a few close family members. Pictures from the couples wedding are flowing in and we are in awe.
During an interview with CinemaExpress, Rana was asked if he thinks life will change post marriage with Miheeka. To this, he quickly denied and said, “She is so supportive and always keeps things easy for me.”
Rana had recently revealed how he proposed Miheeka. The Telugu star said, “She knew where I’m getting at when I called her. And then she met me in person, that’s it. I remember I said a bunch of things together. For me, it was serious. It was commitment. When I met her, that’s the time I felt I am ready to do this. It was that simple, for real. I never thought about it. I met her, I liked her, and that’s it. I found love.”
