It was a turn of events for Sivakarthikeyan when ‘Seemaraja’ failed to work for the actor. The film also starring Samantha Akkineni and ‘Parotta’ Soori in the lead, bombed unexpectedly at the box-office. Post that, Sivakarthikeyan has signed six huge films with big directors including Rajesh and Vignesh Shivan. As his next ‘Mr.Local’ which stars Nayanthara and Yogi Babu in pivotal roles is all set to release, the actor made some large decisions to further his career.

During the press meet of ‘Mr. Local’, Sivakarthikeyan stated, “Even during my initial days in TV channel, I was keen on working with Rajesh sir, he was instrumental in assembling my first massive hit ‘Varuthapadatha Valiber Sangam’. After a lot of discussions, we finally joined hands in Mr.Local. The biggest strength of our film is the quality crew. In Velaikkaran, there weren’t much combination scenes with Nayanthara but she will come throughout the film in Mr.Local. Adhi has exactly given what required for the film and Dinesh Krishnan has provided colorful visuals. I’m planning to meet my fans with a new film every six months.”

Sivakarthikeyan has now signed six large films and while his next ‘Mr. Local’ is all set to release on May 17th, he has begun shooting his next untitled which will Aishwarya Rajesh in a pivotal role. This film will also be produced by Sun Pictures.
