Naga Chaitanya’s last film Venky Mama may have not been a blockbuster but his previous film before that, Majili was a huge success in his career. The film collected $1 million in the USA and a whopping 75 crores in India. Had Sai Pallavi agreed to reprise the role of Malar in Tollywood’s Premam, she and Naga Chaitanya’s onscreen chemistry would have been something to look up to.

Looks like it the time has come as the duo are all set to be a part of director Sekhar Kammula’s next. This being Naga Chaitanya’s 20th film, it is touted to be a love story true in every way. Produced by Sunil Narang, the film will go on floors from September 2019. Sekhar Kammula is known for wonderful films like Happy Days and Fidaa.

 

 

Sources reveal that the film will revolve around the emotions set behind an inter-caste love-story. The film will address important issues like the societal equations with respect to community egos apart from the chemistry and romance between the lead roles. Stills and songs from the film are already winning hearts. Fans are eagerly awaiting to watch this couple’s chemistry onscreen.

It has also been revealed that Sai Pallavi’s role will have something to do with professional dancing. The shoot is underway and the team is hoping to release the film on the 14th of February, 2021.
