‘Majili’ would have definitely been closer to heart as she had the opportunity to join hands with her husband yet again and create magic onscreen. Rightly so, the magic was appreciated and applauded. ‘Majili’ was Naga Chaitanya’s first ever 75 crore film too.
However, Samantha had a different mindset at an earlier point in her career. In a recent interview she talked about a time in her career where social media trolling would make her mentally unstable. She stated, “It was hurting my mental stability and it was making me rush to take wrong decisions. I think I don’t have much advice for anyone or much explanation on how I really got out of such a situation over time. Now I am at the time where this is all for fun where I don’t respond. I have got used to it and expect what’s coming even before I share any picture. I know exactly what’s going to happen.”
She further added, “I have come on my own in the industry…I make mistakes and I learn from them…It’s only been since the last few years that it has been a conscious decision and be responsible for the work that you are doing.”
Talking about her husband, Sam said, “My husband Chaitanya is a lot more focused and a lot more responsible now.”
Samantha has been making some wise choices with the scripts. In a press conference of Oh Baby, Samantha was quoted saying, “Rangasthalam and Majili have proved my decisions are on the mark. I always wanted to complete entertainer before retiring from films.”
