It Is Not A Rumour, I Live To Eat, Says Trisha!

Who doesn’t love food?

Back to back films and maddening work schedules are behind her. But that is a good thing for someone who knows what success tastes like and who has been ruling the hearts of movie lovers for a long time now.

In an industry that epitomizes patriarchy, where actors continue to reign as heroes for a minimum of three decades while actresses rise and fall in the blink of an eye, things have turned out to be a little different for this firebrand. It has been over a decade and she has still got what it takes– women love her and want to be like her, and men still go wonky when they see her on the screen; they really cannot get enough of her. After Sridevi, she is probably the only one who carried off the half sari with such elegance; having said that, her sexy, smoldering avatar is no less. Trisha’s story is not very different – she is a college student turned beauty queen turned super heroine. What is different is that all of us are still under the spell of her x-factor.

Trisha takes time out to relax and rejuvenates herself. However, that’s not it – during one of our interviews with the reigning Queen, Trisha said that she is a diehard foodie.

“It is not a rumour, I live to eat. I can eat just about anything and everything and the days of dieting and resisting food are long gone. I like trying out different cuisines and I am adventurous with food. But as you get older it is good to have a reality check. I come from a family of people who are extremely health conscious. My mother, for her age, is extremely fit; she works out every day and eats correctly. So I eat everything under the roof but in correct proportions,” she said.

Food for life, ay?
