Samantha recently wrapped her shoot for Indian installment of Citadel and Kushi with Varun Dhawan and Vijay Devarakonda respectively. After that, it is now confirmed that she is taking a break for quite a while. She confirmed it with an Instagram post.
She shared a picture with directors Raj & DK and writer Sita Menon and captioned it as, “ And it’s a wrap on #CitadelIndia🤍 A break doesn’t seem like a bad thing at all when you know what’s coming💪🏼 @rajanddk @mensit The family I didn’t know I needed🤗🤍Thank you for helping me fight every single battle and never ever giving up on me..I wish more than anything in the world to make you proud..Thank you for the role of a lifetime.. i.e until you write me the next☺️♥️”.

It is now confirmed that Samantha is taking a break, fans are supporting and encouraging her. One fan wrote, “ the break you are taking is evolving you into wiser and stronger!! Samantha wrapped up her shoot for Kushi and Citadel. Aradhya song from Kushi is becoming a new fan favourite and topping charts.Kushi, directed by Shiva Nirvana a pan-Indian film is scheduled to release worldwide on September 1. On the other hand, she also wrapped up her shoot for Citadel today which is directed by Raj and Dk. The release date of the series is not yet announced.
