Her live session involved her clearing the air about rumors centering around her shifting to Mumbai that spiraled after the rumors with Naga Chaitanya. Apart from clearing fashion-related queries, The Family Man star also opened about rumors about her shifting to Mumbai. 

“Like 100 other rumors, this one is also not true. Hyderabad is home and I will continue to live here. Hyderabad is giving me everything and I will continue to live here very happily. ” said the Tamil Telugu star. Earlier, the actor and her husband were subject to a lot of rumors following her choice to change her name on her social media handles from Samantha Akkineni to the alphabet ‘S’. While the couple hasn’t addressed the rumors head-on, Chaitanya recently said that it’s ‘painful’ that his name is used to spread gossip. 

Though this clarification in her live shed light on how the other rumors about her personal life might not be true as well, the actor has not made any clear statements regarding the same. 

Reports say that Samantha will be starring in her second web series from Netflix which will again be a trilingual one. Apart from the series, Samantha has been busy filming for a few films including Vignesh Shivan’s ‘Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal’ and a Telugu movie called ‘Shaakuntalam’ which is based on the Sanskrit writer Kalidasa’s work on the same name.
