Tamil cinema is known for the diversity it brings to the screen in terms of the storyline, actors, scripts, and costumes. Yet again, we are all in for a blast of diversity with Vijay’s 66th movie, Thalapathy 66.
For this movie, Vijay joins hands with the Tollywood director Vamshi (a famous name in the Tamil film industry) and producer Dil Raju.
Speculations are on about the movie being bilingual with three leading actors being approached to play opposite to him. The three include Keerthy Suresh, Rashmika Mandana, and Kiara Advani. There are also speculations about how Rashmika was approached earlier this week. Though we aren’t sure of who would be playing opposite to Vijay, we sure do know that this would be a race to pair with Thalapathy and we will have to wait to find out.
All three of the actors have a prominent screen presence in their bags. Keerthy Suresh worked with Vijay in Sarkar and was latest seen in Miss. India as the bold protagonist with a voice. Rashmika’s first look in her film Pushpa, opposite to Allu Arjun released yesterday with her looking modest in an upbeat background. Meanwhile, Kiara Advani is seen relishing the success of Shershah as the dedicated and charming wife of an Indian soldier and is also roped in to play the lead in RC15 directed by Shankar.
All three of them have great things going and this speculation only makes us wish more great things to happen for the trio as they race to bag this pairing with Vijay.

It’s not about Shah Rukh Khan winning. It’s about how he won. The awards jury has not provided any breakdown of criteria, scoring, or even reasoning. There is no clarity on what constitutes a “supporting” versus a “lead” role. There is no public documentation of the jury process.
