For the past few days Nithya Menen has been making headlines as there have been rumours that she is going to tie the knot soon. The reports said that she is most likely getting married to someone from the Malayalam film industry, with whom she has been friends from her teenage, even before she even entered the field. While the name of the Hero was not revealed, there were constant updates that the actor is to tie the knot soon.

Rubbishing these rumours Nithya has said, “There is absolutely no truth in the rumours that are spreading on social media. I wish the media would take the effort to verify the truth before publishing such stories.”

Meanwhile, Nithya was last seen in Tamil in Psycho. She just completed Modern Love- Hyderabad with Revathy. She then took to Instagram to share how her real life situation is similar to that of the series. In reality too, she has injured her leg, just like she would have in the series.

The actor is now awaiting the release of the Malayalam film 19(1)(a) where she is acting alongside Vijay Sethupathi. She is also acting as one of the leads in Dhanush’s Thiruchitrambalam. The film, directed by Mithran Jawahar is all set to release on August 18. Another Malayalam film of her’s, Aaram Thirukalpana, is completed and is in the post-production stage.
