Keerthy shared a picture on her social media handle dressed in a bright yellow saree with the caption, “New Beginnings and Yellow!” with the hashtag VD18. Is she part of a Bollywood project with actor Varun Dhawan? The answer is yes. She has signed up for her next movie which is touted to be a remake of the hit film Theri starring Vijay, Samantha and Amy Jackson. The film was directed by Atlee and the news is that the Bollywood remake would also be made by him.

An official announcement is still awaited from the filmmakers but we are excited to see how this movie pans out as the original was loved and thoroughly appreciated. The teaser for VD18 and the official title will be revealed soon as well. The film also stars Wamiqa Gabbi as the third actor. A video from the muhurat event of the movie was shared by Keerthy earlier this year which confirms the news. The shooting of this film is in progress and the title of the project will be unveiled soon.
