South Indian actress Kajal Aggarwal, who has starred in some Hindi films too, is all set to make her Punjabi debut! Reports are rife that the actress was impressed with a particular storyline for a Punjabi film and will be starring in it. This is yet to be confirmed by the actress herself.

According to The News Minute, Kajal hopes that her debut in the Punjabi industry would be as successful as her South one.

The actress is currently the latest addition to the tentatively titled Telugu film BSS5. She joined the cast for the Bellamkonda Sai Srinivas film, directed by debutant Srinivas. The film will be Bellamkonda’s fifth film. Reports state that Kajal started shooting for the film on June 1 and is expected to finish this schedule in a few days. What’s best is the Hindi satellite rights of the film have sold for a massive Rs 9.50 crores.

She will soon wrap up the shooting of Paris! Paris!, the Tamil remake of the Kangana Ranaut-starrer Queen. The Tamil version is being directed by Ramesh Arvind.

This year alone, Kajal had two releases – Awe and MLA, both of which were Telugu films. In Tamil, she acted in Mersal with Vijay and Vivegam with Ajith Kumar.
