Ilayathalapathy Vijay joined the Jallikattu protest Friday night and left this morning from the Marina beach. Although, many of his fans expected him to join the nadigar sangam protest yesterday, he chose to join the group of youngsters.
To avoid any media coverage diversion, he tied a piece of cloth to his face.

He earlier mentioned to the ibtimes that he gave the Nadigar Sangam silent protest a miss because he did not want to take away the limelight from the youth as all the celebrities in one place will divert a lot of attention.
He further added that he has no issues with the Nadigar Sangam protesting and that its only his personal choice not to attend.
In the early days of protest, Actor Surya also visited the Marina Beach to extend his support for Jallikattu.
