IIFA Awards 2018: 7 People Who Turned Heads With Their Fashion Choices!

The coveted IIFA Awards aka the International Indian Film Academy awards was held in Bangkok this weekend celebrating its 19th edition, and much like the previous years, this year, too, was bigger and better. Stars dressed in their best, some performing, some winning, and some presenting, all walking the fancy green carpet at the Siam Niramit theatre.

Everyone came in their best, but there were few who totally stole the show! Check out these seven people who were dressed in their finest and took fashion to another level!

Shraddha Kapoor:

Dressed like Cinderella! Shraddha wore this beautiful baby and rose pink gown designed by New York’s Reem Acra. Styled by her favourite Tanya Ghavri, she stuck to simple plain studs, simply make-up, and a simple bun. The focus was the dress and it was given its due credit!

Ranbir Kapoor:

Also a performer that evening, Ranbir Kapoor looked sharp in this double-breasted suit with his hair in a semi-pompadour. Since he’s not much for maintaining a beard, he keeps a simple stubble and ensures that there’s a nice tie that goes with the dark suit.

Kriti Sanon:

She had her Cinderella moment and she totally nailed it! Her Mark Bumgarner outfit was surely noticed with its sequins and ruffles accentuating her regal look. Her look almost took us back to the time Aishwarya Rai Bachchan wore a similar gown to Cannes Film Festival, but Kriti makes this her own with not so obvious make-up and jewellery on.

Radhika Apte:

Blue is a colour that most would often not pick for a jazzy awards night. But Radhika is not someone to shy away from experimenting. She wore this ruffled Amit Aggarwal gown, with her pulled back into a low ponytail that carefully didn’t take the focus from her dress. Much like the others, her make-up was simple and her drop earrings were a clear winner that night!

Zaira Wasim:

She’s all of 18 and she really ups her game when it comes to fashion. This ‘Dangal’ star wore a lovely Alpana Neeraj outfit, a designer that many top Bollywood heroines vouch for. The black sleeves is a real game changer with the dress checking all the right boxes in a fashionista’s diary!

Ayushmann Khurrana:

Dressed as sharp as a knife, and that too in white! This Bollywood actor really pulls off this three-piece suit designed by Rohit Gandhi and Rahul Khanna. As for the hair and beard, we’re glad it adds more suave to his dressing!

Anil Kapoor:

This man is 60 plus and doesn’t seem to be ageing! He likes to keep it sharp and in this suit, he’s still a stiff competition to every other young actor at the event. His hair, too, keeps up with the times!
