I Would Love To Romance Oviya: Aarav!

Aarav opens up about his relationship with Oviya!

The Bigg Boss show on Vijay TV hosted by Kamal Hassan has finally come to an end and yes, the winner is none other than Aarav! Not has he only completed 100 days and fulfilled the tasks, he is also taking home Rs. 50 lakhs worth cash prize.

Director Shankar and producer Dil Raju made an appearance at the finale and announced that they were going to make Indian Part 2. Shankar said that he’d work on the film after 2.O.

Host Kamal Haasan revealed that the show had garnered a whopping 76,76,53,065 votes overall.

With just four contestants – Aarav, Harish Kalyan, Snehan, and Ganesh Venkatraman – left in the house, the last week saw the four of them exchanging their thoughts on the show and how it had helped them.

Many on social media speculated that Ganesh Venkatraman, who’d mostly steered clear of controversies, would be the winner. However, it was Aarav who walked away with the title, the News Minute reported.

Oviya had also made an appearance which excited her fans about her reaction towards Aarav.

In an interview with The Times of India, Aarav said, “I didn’t expect things to get serious. She is a brilliant person. In fact, Oviya is nicer than a lot of other people in the house. She exudes positivity and is good-hearted. Sometimes, she would do things that irritated others and that’s why she was nominated week after week. But we would wonder how she was not getting evicted. Only when I came out, I realized the kind of a fan following she has. When the whole issue was going on, I wanted to just get out of the house. But if that had happened, I would have been the bad guy. So, I had to play the game and win it. I am thankful to God that I won it.”

On asking if he would do a movie with Oviya, he said, “I would love that, too. If that is what people want, why not? She is still a good friend and I will always wish her the best. She is already an established actor and it would be great working with her.”

Having won the show, when you look back, do you have any regrets?
I think I could have handled the Oviya issue better. I don’t think I should have avoided her that day. Others told me that it would have hurt her. I think I should have been a little more patient especially since I was her best friend in the house. I also apologized to her and had tears in my eyes. I knew I had insulted her and that was very bad.
