In an interview with Chennai Times, Kajol got candid about it. On asking about her comeback, she said, “Dhanush and Soundarya conned me into this film (laughs). I was told that I will have only few Tamil dialogues, but only after landing there I realised that I have a lot of lines in Tamil to deliver. However, they always had a solution to everything and it was very comfortable and a great learning experience for me.”
When asked how she felt when Dhanush called her ‘Amul Baby’, she said, ” When I first heard it, I was like what? Do I look like a piece of butter to you? But then they explained me the context and then I got it. It was super fun though.”
She further added that it was great fun to work with Dhanush. “He is a wonderful actor – very cool and composed during the shoot. I must say Dhanush is not a person who throws tantrums. He has written the screenplay and dialogues of the film, so he was more involved with every scene,” she concluded.
‘Velai Illa Pattadhari 2’ team released the trailer and the impressive dialogues and the old background score brought back all the memories of the first sequence and we are already eager to watch.

Dhanush is currently shooting for ‘Vada Chennai’ and his next with Gautham Menon is also in the post production process.
