Kajol sure does make a great (and gorgeous) villain in the trailer of VIP 2. After making a great comeback into Kollywood after 20 years, Kajol has been always a favourite no matter what. Although she has done only one movie in Kollywood through ‘Minsara Kanavu’, the impact was great. After that, her movies ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’ and ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge’ also garnered a lot of appreciation from the South Indian audience.

In an interview with Chennai Times, Kajol got candid about it. On asking about her comeback, she said, “Dhanush and Soundarya conned me into this film (laughs). I was told that I will have only few Tamil dialogues, but only after landing there I realised that I have a lot of lines in Tamil to deliver. However, they always had a solution to everything and it was very comfortable and a great learning experience for me.”
