There is no doubt indeed that Sneha and Prasanna are truly made for each other. Their son Vihaan is already a star and the family as a whole looks super adorable. This Flashback Friday we are thrilled to show you an interview the couple did together with The Hindu last year and it will definitely make you go ‘aww’.It began in 2006 with Sneha wanting to gift her sister a connoisseur’s collection of Ilaiyaraaja’s songs. Her PRO John told her about a young actor he represented who was deeply into the maestro’s melodies.

She picked up the phone and expected that the man would recognize who she was. What she got was monosyllable replies in a distinctly unfriendly voice — incidentally, as a student of engineering, Prasanna loved two songs that Sneha had featured in: ‘Pallakuzhiyin’ and ‘Sollathaan Ninaikiraen’.

Two years later, she got to work with him in the evocative Achamundu Achamundu and discovered a friend behind the shy exterior. “Even today, Prasanna and I wonder at how far we’ve come,” she says.

Eventually, sparks flew between the boy from small-town Tiruchi and the actress, who was raised in Dubai and had worked in all South Indian industries. “I still ask Suha (Sneha’s real name is Suhasini) what she saw in me — I was moody, underconfident and forever looking for ways to remain unnoticed,” smiles Prasanna.
