Taapsee is the girl of the moment, her film PINK starring Kriti Kulhari, Andrea Tariang and Amitabh Bachchan in lead roles is creating waves across the country for its hard hitting nature. The movie tries to break and question every patriarchal aspect present in the society today. In an interview Taapsee opened up about how she was eve teased for nearly two years in Delhi buses while she traveled to college.

'Eve-teasing used to happen almost on a daily basis in Delhi. I used to travel in DTC buses while going to college for the longest time. I got my car when I was 19. So for two years before getting a car, I used to travel in DTC buses. And eve-teasing used to happen almost daily. Not just that, I have been touched inappropriately in DTC buses. Rubbed at wrong places while in a bus. And if we ventured into crowded areas in Delhi during the time of festivals, people used to touch you at inappropriate places. It was very common and has happened to me.'

Certainly this is something every young girl in the country can relate to, as at some point every girl has been put through this horror of eve teasing. Though strict laws are in place to curb such incidents, it is of very less help and society's mindset as a whole needs a lot of change.
