Our favourite couple Sam-Chay are #CoupleGoals for their adorableness. But behind closed doors, Samantha says she has more than what she bargained for, a loving extended family.  “I’ve been blessed with a remarkable mother-in-law. She is a great source of support to me and has been a big help with preparations. Indeed a lot has been spoken about Samantha’s special bond with her mother-in-law and Naga Chaitanya’s mother Lakshmi Daggubati.

 

She acknowledges, “I thank my stars, for I keep getting luckier and luckier every time. I have a great relationship with my parents-in-law. Every time I visit Chennai, I spend most of my time with my mother-in-law. She is a strong woman I look up to. She has the most intelligent things to share.” She further added, “As for my father-in-law, everyone knows how fond I am of him. He is more a friend to me, with whom I share anything.”

“This year especially is very experimental for me, since I am conscious of not choosing anything that is typical in terms of my roles. By typical, I mean like the usual heroine kind of roles, but I am keen and open to doing character roles. Also, I have been here in the industry for 7 years now and things can get boring when roles get repetitive,” she concluded with confidence and vision for herself.

 

Samantha has two big releases with the first being ‘Super Deluxe’ starring Vijay Sethupathi, Ramya Krishnan, Fahadh Faasil in the lead and directed by Thiyagaraja Kumararaja. The next would be with her husband Naga Chaitanya titled ‘Majili.
