She said, “Well, to me it really doesn’t matter as it is part of the script. For me a hug, a kiss and a touch is nothing for me. I had no clue about Chay’s kissing scene in the movie. But it was director Shiva who called me and showed it. I was like “Hmm….”
She also said that love is very different post wedding, “Love after marriage definitely changes. I always thought why directors are not coming up with this point. At the right time, director Shiva approached me with the very thought I had that love after wedding will be even more beautiful. That’s why I said ‘YES’ to this movie and I have watched it and I must say, it is a very well made film.”
She further stated that characters Poorna and Sravani are beautiful and absolutely different: “My motto in life is, always be better than yesterday. Like so I always want an extra layer to the roles, I portray in the movies. Sravani in ‘Majili’ doesn’t talk much but she needs to show a lot of strength. She gives importance to family a lot. The only similarity in Sravani and me is, both love their husband unconditionally.”
“Poorna (Naga Chaitanya) is most complex role and he had to give his best and he did so. Climax is the most important part of the movie and we discussed a lot before going for the shoot. I’m very proud wife after watching this movie.”
She concluded, “Audience are changing and women are demanding their true worth. Accordingly directors are upcoming movie different and strong roles. This is a good change.”
Samantha said after wedding she turned lazy but is happy personally and professionally. She feels satisfactory when she does a quality film that gets audience appreciation.
Majili is touted to release on April 5th!
