Harish Kalyan, of Bigg Boss Tamil season 1 fame, has recently enjoyed great success with movie releases such as the 2018 hit Pyaar PremaKaadhal and the 2019 film Ispade Rajavum Idhaya Raniyum. His venture into Tollywood proved to be successful as well; he played a key role in the highly praised Nani starrer Jersey. He is set to try and extend this purple patch with the newly announced Pelli Choopulu remake in which he will star alongside fellow breakthrough star Priya Bhavani Shankar, who incidentally will also feature alongside Harish in upcoming anthology movie Kasada Thapara.

As the successful actor recently turned 30, during one of his interviews with a popular entertainment portal, Harish talked about his belief in being committed for a long-term. He further stated that he does not believe in casual dating. “I am not dating anyone. I love to be committed, and love to be in love. Apart from being an actor, I want to tell people that I am still a normal guy, who yearns for such things. It is beautiful to be with someone, isn’t it? I am fun, but I can also be a little complicated. I am deep, sensitive and possessive. I am not the dating type, I believe in long term commitment. If your love is true, it will be there till the end. Also, love is unconditional. It is not just about you and your feelings, it is also about accommodating that person’s feelings. And there is always love for your friends, family and work,” he is quoted saying at the interview.

It was believed that Harish Kalyan was dating his debut film costar Raiza Wilson for a brief amount of time. However, there was no confirmation from both their ends.
