The Kollywood film industry was shaken when a series of photos and videos of huge stars like Dhanush, Trisha, Chinmayi to name a few. While most have been furious about her actions, Suchitra and her ex-husband Karthik publicly apologised for the situation. However, the infamous #SuchLeaks has never been forgotten. Suchitra left all social media and disappeared for almost two years now until another alarming statement resurfaced.

After a very long time, Suchitra has now publicly given out a statement. It was only recently when Suchitra’s sister Sunita. Suchitra has now given a statement saying that she is not missing and that this is a folly. She further stated that this is all a conspiracy. In a recent interview with DT Next, Suchitra said that she is not missing, but is now put up at a clinic where people say that she’s mentally unstable. Elaborating more, she said, “I am not missing. But my sister has lodged a complaint because I was not reachable for a few hours. Now, they have kept me in a clinic in Anna Nagar saying that I am mentally unstable.”

She said, “My sister and her husband are waiting outside (the clinic). I can’t even step out.” According to police reports, Suchitra was travelling to her parent’s house in Adyar. “My sister wanted to meet me and get my signature on certain papers. The documents have not been drawn up yet, but she had been trying to convince me,” added Suchitra.

Reportedly, Suchitra didn’t inform her family about herself after which they decided to file a missing complaint. The singer later got traced to a hotel in Chennai.

Suchitra and Karthik separated soon after the scandalous controversies. However, she had only the nicest things to say about him. “She added, “Karthik is a wonderful person. He has virtues of Lord Rama. I know we are going through a divorce. It’s very painful for all of us concerned but it is due to some unsolvable problems. I was hospitalised. I was forcibly taken to the hospital but it was connected to my divorce,” she added.
