Rajinikanth said, “I am not bothered by criticism. Today I need your support. Kochadaiyan and Lingaa did not do well but Kabali and Enthiran did. A film will work only if is good content.” The actor also advised the youth of Tamil Nadu to refrain from smoking and drinking.
Rajinikanth also addressed his stance with politics and said, “God willing, if I ever decide to join politics I will do it for the welfare of people and not make money. As of now, Hog wants me to be an actor, and I am happy with that. If in case I decide to join politics, I won’t allow wrong people to join me, I’ll keep them away.”
The actor is all set to work with Pa Ranjith on his new gangster film. Rumors are that the film is a biopic on gangster Haji Mastan was denied by the makers. According to them, the movie is just a fictional story set in Mumbai.
