“Do not take Law into your hands s this will make you an accused”, said ACP K.Srinivas Rao as he resolved the case of a woman techie attacking and abducting her harasser in order to teach him a lesson. 23-year-old Sai Kumar, a carpenter, was at work in the house of one Pravalika situated in Borabanda. That is when Pravalika had to use her friend Pulleri Divya’s phone to ring Sai up.
Ever since, Sai would constantly call and leave messages to Divya. A frustrated Divya, in order to teach the harasser a lesson, planned Sai’s abduction along with her colleagues, a car driver, a security guard and a diesel mechanic.
She called Sai on Wednesday and asked him to meet her at a place in Secunderabad. When he reached there, they attacked him, took him on their bike to two different secluded places and beat him up with sticks.
A shocked Sai Kumar lodged a complaint against the group who were then arrested on charges of criminal conspiracy, kidnapping and attempt to murder.
The ACP then requested that one must make sure to lodge a complaint in a a nearby police station or the SHE team of the Police.
