Overwhelming emotions.

Gargi, produced by 2D entertainment, is all set to release next week on July 15. With the release in mind, the lead actor Sai Pallavi and some other actors in the film like Aishwarya Lekshmi attended a press meet yesterday. It was reported that actor Aishwarya Lekshmi broke down and got extremely emotional while speaking along with Sai Pallavi onstage.

Aishwarya Lekshmi has been involved in the production of Gargi for a longtime and was praising Sai Pallavi for the efforts she had taken in the film. While speaking, she got extremely emotional and broke down onstage. Later, Aishwarya Lekshmi continued praising Sai Pallavi and applauded her for her sincerity that will translate as the success of this film. Meanwhile, the director of the film Gautham Ramachandran also thanked Aishwarya for her support throughout.

Gargi’s trailer was released recently. It shows the struggle a daughter undergoes when her father is suddenly arrested, and her family is kept in the dark regarding the reason of his arrest. The movie is releasing simultaneously in Tamil and Telugu. The Tamil trailer of the film was launched by Kollywood stars Arya, Suriya, Lokesh Kanagaraj, and Anirudh Ravichander. The Telugu trailer was launched  by Sai Pallavi’s ‘Virata Parvam’ and ‘Shyam Singha Roy’ co-stars Rana Daggubati and Nani.

On the work front, Aishwarya Lekshmi is awaiting the release of Magnum Opus Ponniyin Selvan I. She is also working on films like Captain, Kumari, Ammu, etc. Sai Pallavi on the other hand just saw the release of Virata Parvam, and is now awaiting the release of Gargi.
