Samantha who was last seen in Vignesh Shivan’s Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal, is now working on a number of projects, including Hollywood’s ‘Arrangements of Love’. Now, she is all set to debut into Karan Johar’s Koffee with Karan Season 7. She is one of the first actors from the South to actually appear on the show. The trailer for her episode was just released, and she comes with Akshay Kumar.

Speaking about the actor, Karan Johar said, “You are carrying the number 1 female star on your number 1 shoulders.” To this statement, Samantha replies with a chirpy smile, “I am not complaining,” speaking about how happy she is to have been carried by Akshay Kumar. She also calls out Karan Johar, that his films are the main reason for marital problems. She and Akshay Kumar seem to be having a lot of fun throughout the episode.

On the work front, Samantha is awaiting the release of Shaakunthalam and is working on Kushi and Yashoda. Recently it was also reported that Samantha Ruth Prabhu is all set to grace the Indian Film Festival Melbourne which is  is all set to flag off on August 12th. According to the agenda, the Yashoda actor will meet her fans in the Capital city of the Victorian State of Australia. She will also deliver an in-conversation chat live with her audience about her journey as an actor, on August 13.
