Samantha has been on a signing spree in recent times. Even while she awaits the release of Yashodha and Shaakunthalam, she is working on many other projects and is also signing a few more. For example, the actor is all set to make her Hollywood debut with ‘Arrangements of Love’ in which she is likely to play a queer woman. Recently, the teaser of her upcoming film Yashodha was released, and she was seen playing the role of a pregnant woman. In recent times, however, fans have noticed that this busy actress is not making much of an appearance on her social media.

Immediately, reports suggested that the actress had a skin condition and that she has been postponing her Kushi shoot in order to take treatment for the same. New reports also suggested that the actress is most likely to travel abroad for the treatment because of the health scare. However, Samantha’s team has now let out a clarification that these are just ‘baseless’ rumours. The manager said the star’s fine and added that all such rumors are not true. Her manager, Mahendra, has now broken his silence on the matter. While addressing concerns about her health, he said that Sam is fine and termed these reports as “just gossip. He, however, did not comment on the purpose behind her US trip.

Now, the real reason behind her travel to America has been revealed. A source close to Samantha revealed, “Samantha has been working on getting into her character for Citadel in the US. She is following a very strict fitness and lifestyle regime there to get into the physicality of her character in the series. Over there, she is training with renowned experts working in the entertainment space for action.” So, Samantha has taken a work trip to the US, not a wellness trip.

The release date of Samantha’s Shaakuntalam was revealed yesterday. The Shaakuntalam team revealed that the movie is all set to hit the big screens on the 4th of November.  Sharing the news, the makers Tweeted, “Witness the #EpicLoveStory #Shaakuntalam in Theatres from Nov 4th, 2022 Worldwide!.”
