Here’s The First Look Of Samantha As Jaanu From Tollywood’s 96!

She has been similarly styled up!

The movie ’96 won a million hearts with their beautiful storyline and an impeccable performance by Vijay Sethupathi and Trisha. The movie directed by Prem Kumar has completed a 100 successful days and it is time the actors celebrate the movie as much the audience did.

The Love story of Ram and Jaanu has been etched in our hearts forever but we are sure you were heartbroken that their beautiful story had to end that way. This cult film is also being made in Telugu and Kannada. While the first few pictures of Bhavana from Kannada’s remake of 96 has come out, the recent to hit the news is Samantha’s look as Jaanu from 96 Telugu. Sharwanand will be seen donning the role of Ram in the film which will be directed by Prem Kumar.

As we all know, Samantha Akkineni is riding high on success. She did not choose to give up on her career post marriage as many speculated. From ‘Mahanati’ to ‘Super Deluxe’, the past two years have been good for Samantha. She particularly received a lot of appreciation for the multistarrer ‘Super Deluxe’ and the Naga Chaitanya starrer ‘Majili’.

Majili’ would have definitely been closer to heart as she had the opportunity to join hands with her husband yet again and create magic onscreen. Rightly so, the magic was appreciated and applauded. ‘Majili’ was Naga Chaitanya’s first ever 75 crore film too.

Samantha has been making some wise choices with the scripts. In a press conference of Oh Baby, Samantha was quoted saying, “Rangasthalam and Majili have proved my decisions are on the mark. I always wanted to complete entertainer before retiring from films. Oh Baby has filled the gap and it will be milestone film in my career.”

Oh Baby has done a million dollar business in the States and 40 crores in India.
