With Manmadhudu 2 coming up, Nagarjuna is gearing up for yet another successful film with a twist. The onscreen chemistry between Rakul Preet Singh and Nagarjuna is also being appreciated from the look of it in the trailer. During one of his promotional interviews for his upcoming films, Nagarjuna talked about his long kissing scene in his old film Geethanjali. He further added that it was easily one of the most memorable scenes in his lifetime and here’s why.

 

 

The veteran actor revealed that when the film released, Nagarjuna took his father and legendary actor Nageswara Rao to the premiere show. He also informed him that there would be a long kissing scene in the film and he had to do it because it was necessary. “Before the show started, I told my father that there is a long, unbroken kissing scene that is very aesthetic. After the show, he told me that’s the best scene in the movie. He also assured me that no Censor Board member will remove that scene if ever he or she loved anybody,” he added.

Geethanjali was directed by Mani Ratnam and this scene shot by the director turned out to be a brilliant moment in the film. This film that won a National Award, showcased a beautiful love story of two people.

On the professional front, Nagarjuna is hosting the third season of Telugu Bigg Boss and is awaiting the release of Manmadhudu 2 on August 9th.
