It was in 2010, when we first saw Naga Chaitanya and Samantha. Both of them debuted in the movie Ye Maaya Chesave. Even now the characters Karthik and Jessie still live in our minds. Their chemistry was unbelievable. The couple made the movie special.
However they did not fall in love then. Instead, they became best friends.
When Naga Chaitanya could have ended with Shruti Haasan:
Between 2010 and 2014, Naga Chaitanya and Samantha were good friends. It was also during that time, when Chaitanya dated Shruti Haasan. They were introduced by their friends and became inseparable. There even came a time when rumors about the two getting married started going around.

Finally, on May 21, 2017, Naga Chaitanya talked to the media and confirmed that his marriage will be taking place on October this year. He also revealed that they will be holding their wedding in Hyderabad.
