Here’s All You Need To Know About The Bigg Boss 6 Contestants!

Bigg Boss is a show with a huge fan following, and the team recently announced that it is returning for Season 6. Last season, Raju made it to the Finale and bagged the title. The show is always hosted by Kamal Haasan, but for a short while last season, Ramya Krishnan hosted it. Bigg Boss Ultimate was also completed recently with contestants who have already been in the Bigg Boss House. The first season’s title was bagged by Arav. The winner of the following seasons was Rythvika, Mugen Rao, Aari Arjunan, and Raju Jeyamohan, for seasons 2, 3, 4, and 5, respectively.

Here’s all you need to know about this season’s contestants.

1.GP Muthu:

GP Muthu is a popular social media influencer from Tamil Nadu, India and professionally he was Carpenter.GP Muthu did schooling up to 3rd grade. After dropping out, he went to work in a jewellery store. After working for ten years in the jewellery store, he learned the trade and started his own jewellery store. He became a Tik Tok sensation and rose to fame for his funny videos and meme content. Since the ban of Tik Tok he has been making videos on Instagram reels. He also started a Youtube channel and has gained 988k subscribers in a short span.

2. Asal Kolaar:

Asal Kolaar is an Indian film Singer/Lyricist, who has worked predominantly in the Tamil movie industry. Asal has worked in popular movies like Coffee With Kadhal, and Gulu Gulu. Asal’s previous film to hit the theatres was Coffee With Kadhal in the year 2022. Jorthale, Mustaache Vestaache , Lifetime of a Bachelor, Kawa Ulla, and Vaanambaa, are some of his famous songs. His relationship status is currently single. As a rapper himself, he is an Eminem fan. He calls himself Asal Kolaar because he really believes that he is his true self.

3. Shivin Ganesan:

The third contestant of the Bigg Boss house is a commoner called Shivin Ganesan. She is a transgender who spoke about her difficulties in life because of her identity. She is an established Model, IT expert, and occasional actress. She has earned herself a solid reputation for taking part in numerous modelling competitions and picture assignments. Supermodel Shivin Ganesan who has also backed up the title Miss Trans Star India 2021, was born in 1997. She works for HCL IT Tech corporations in Chennai as a customer support agent.

4. Azeem:

Mohammed Azeem is an serial actor, who has worked predominantly in Tamil Television industry. Azeem has appeared in some well known television serials such Maya with Vaani Bojan, Kadaikutty Singam, Pagal Nilavu with Shivani Natarajan, Priyamanaval and Deivam Thandha Veedu. Azeem completed his secondary education at Asan Matric Higher Secondary School, Chennai. He has a bachelor’s degree from D.G.Vaishnav college & Loyola College.

He made his acting debut with the serial ‘Maya’ along with Vani Bhojan. Azeem has also appeared in serials like Priyamanaval and Deivam Thandha Veedu. Aseem did a lead role in the Pagal Nilavu serial along with Shivani Narayanan on Star Vijay TV. He is a divorcee and has a young toddler son.

5. Robert Master:

Robert is an Indian choreographer who has worked in across India’s several regional film industries. He has also appeared as an actor, often portraying villainous roles or by making cameo appearances in songs he has choreographed. Robert began his career as a child artiste, notably playing Mammooty’s son in Azhagan (1991). Robert then featured as a villain in films, with major acting roles in Sathyaraj’s Maaran (2002) and the 2004 film Dancer, which told the story of a disabled student making it successful as a dancer. Portraying the antagonist, Robert won critical acclaim for his portrayal and secured the Tamil Nadu State Film Award for Best Villain later that year. Robert was once in a live-in relationship with Vanitha Vijaykumar, but the two broke up eventually.

6. Aysha:

Aysha is an Indian actress who primarily appears in Tamil language and Telugu films and TV series. She began her TV career in Tamil through Ponmagal Vanthal in 2018. She later appeared in the critically acclaimed TV serial Sathya (TV series) which aired on Zee Tamil. She also played a supporting role in the 2019 film Dhilluku Dhuddu 2. Ayesha was born on the 7th of June 1993 in Kasaragod, Kerala, India into a Malayalam-speaking family where her father spoke Tamil and her mother spoke Malayalam. She completed her schooling at Ambedkar Vidhyanikethan English Medium Higher Secondary School, Kasaragod. Then she came to Chennai for college and graduated from M.O.P. Vaishnav College for Women in the stream of Bsc.

7. Sheriina:

Sheriina is an actress and entrepreneur. She kickstarted her media career as a model. She participated in several pageant shows. Sheriina was selected to participate in Femina Miss India South. After Femina Miss India South (2009), she took modeling seriously and participated in many beauty pageants. She won the ‘Grazia Ford Supermodel of India’. She is also talented in Boxing and karate. In 2021, she hit the road of the Kollywood industry with the film Vinodhaya Sitham (ZEE5). As a businesswoman, she founded two companies Sayara motors and UVI studio.

8. Manikanta Rajesh:

Manikandan Rajesh is a South Indian small-screen actor most well-known for his roles in Tamil television. He is mainly remembered as the veteran and charming South Indian actress Aishwarya Rajesh’s younger brother. Manikandan Rajesh is an actor as well as an entrepreneur who works exclusively in the Tamil television networks as a serial actor and reality show contestant. Manikandan made his television debut on Vijay TV in the Tamil soap opera Aval. The multi-talented actor also appeared in television shows such as Azhagu, Siva Manasula Sakthi, Thai Veedu, and others. He has collaborated with a number of well popular Tamil television industry actors and actresses, including Naresh Eswar, Vasu Vikram, Poovilangu Mohan, Revathi, Thalaivasal Vijay, and Archana Harish. 9. Rachitha Mahalakshmi:

Rachitha Mahalakshmi is an Indian television actress who predominantly work in Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada television with few films. She is best known for her role as Meenatchi in the Indian Tamil soap opera Saravanan Meenatchi. Rachitha was born in Bangalore. She is fluent in Tamil, Kannada, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam and English. She is married to Dinesh Gopalsamy from Srivilliputhur who acted as her pair in the serial Pirivom Santhipom. Rachitha made her debut in Mega Mandala, which was telecasted in Star Suvarna. Rachitha became popular and successful after playing the lead role, as Meenatchi, in Saravanan Meenatchi, which aired in Star Vijay. Since then, she is also recognized as Meenatchi.

10. Ram Ramasamy:

Ram Ramaswamy is a Tamil Nadu cricketer who has also done modelling for various brands, anchored television shows and has also made his debut in a new movie that will release in 2023. The Chennai-born youngster has experience in reality shows as well as was a contestant in India’s Top Model aired on Colors TV. He is also a model who has done a film, which was shelved. He had to let go of his cricket career because of a small leg injury.

11. Aaryan Dinesh Kanagaratnam (ADK):

Aaryan Dinesh Kanagaratnam (born 30 August 1981), also known by his initials A. D. K. or simply Dinesh Kanagaratnam, is a Sri Lankan R&B and hip hop artist and music producer who has composed tracks in Tamil language. He also often collaborates with music directors in Tamil cinema as a playback singer.

He collaborated with him on the song “Aathichudi” for the soundtrack of the film TN 07 AL 4777 (2008) in 2009 which is a remake of Surangani, a song from his first independent album, Tamizha. Back in Sri Lanka, he did a cross-culture album in 2005 which includes songs in Tamil, Sinhala and English.

Janany Kunaseelan is a Newsreader and Model from Sri Lanka. She was born and bought up in Jaffna, Sri Lanka. After her schooling, Janany did her graduation from Jaffna National College Of College, Sri Lanka. Later, Janany started her career in Modeling and acted in a few TVCs like Swarnalaya Jewellery, etc. Janany then joined IBC TV Channel and worked as a Newsreader and Anchor.

13. Shanthi:

Shanthi Arvind, also known as Shanthi or Shanthi Master, is an Indian dancer and actress. She began her career at the age of simply 10 in the film Kizhakku Vaasal (1990) as a dancer. Shanthi made her television debut in the 2002 television series Metti Oli, which proved to be a major breakout role in her career, she later earned herself the name of “Metti Oli Shanthi” after her appearance in the show.

14. Vikraman:

Vikraman is a former editor and correspondent for a popular news channel from Chennai. He started his career as Journalist and later joined Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi as a spokesperson. Vikraman did a Net Zero Fellowship at the School of Policy & Governance, Bangalore. He later joined Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi as a spokesperson.

15. Amudhavanan:

Amudhavanan is an Indian mimicry artist, actor, and dancer. He mostly works in the Tamil television industry. Moreover, he is known for his works in the popular comedy reality show Kalakka Povadhu Yaaru judged by actor Pandiarajan and Uma Riyaz. He made his big-screen debut through the Tamil movie Thaara Thappattai directed by Bala. Amaudhavanan He also did a supporting role in the Billa Pandi movie alongside RK Suresh. He also appeared in several other television shows like Jodi No 1, Athu Ithu Ethu, and more.

16. VJ Maheshwari:

Maheshwari (born 17 February 1985) better known as V.J. Maheswari is an Indian actress and video jockey who predominately appears in Tamil television shows and films. She is best known for playing the role of Kavya in Star Vijay’s popular soap opera Puthu Kavithai. She also appeared in the blockbuster film Vikram in 2022. In 2010, Maheshwari made her debut in the film Kuyil which was a low-budget film. As soon as she made her acting debut she also acted television advertisements shoots and modelling photo shoots. In this period she developed an interest in anchoring and hosting. She has a son, although she has separated from her husband.

17. VJ Kathirravan:

VJ Kathirravan, is a television anchor from Chennai, Tamil Nadu. He has been involved in anchoring, and modelling and is well-known as Sun Music Kathir. VJ Kathirravan joined Sun Music a few years back as VJ and did many programs during weekdays and weekends. He has hosted shows like Vaazthukkal and Endrum Iniyavai. Apart from these shows on television as VJ Kathir has also been doing many public events as a host.

18. Queency Stanly:

Queency Stanly Is a budding south Indian Actress, dancer, and model who primarily performs in the Tamil language. She was raised in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India, where she was born too. After finishing her schooling, Queency began her career as a model and now she is paving her way into Tamil cinema on the big screen. Initially, she started off with her performance In album and cover songs like Thanimai Athu Varama, etc., and then she progressed into acting.

Queency made her screen debut in the Tamil television industry by performing in small-screen serials and daily soap operas. She appeared in a few serials like “Anbe Vaa”. Following thereafter, Queency made her film debut in Tamil with the film “Karuppu Kannadi.” She is now appearing in the film Vidiyum Varai Kaathiru which is expected to hit the screens soon.

19. Nivashini:

Nivashini is a famous social media star and entrepreneur with tons of followers on her Instagram account. Her modelling photoshoots and appearances are noteworthy. Nivaashiyni worked as an editorial intern at Continuo Media. She also made her entertainment world appearance with Unmai Kann Theduthae. Nivashini is a model registered with SIMA (Singapore Indian Models Agency). Her dream was to be something in the media industry and started out as an intern. She is yet another commoner contestant in this season of Bigg Boss.

20. Dhanalakshmi:

Dhanalakshmi is a famous Tiktoker and social media star with tons of followers on her Instagram and TikTok accounts. Her appearances in music videos and short film movies is also noteworthy. Dhanalakshmi rose to stardom on Tiktok where she had 400k+ followers. Post-TikTok’s ban, Dhanalakshmi took to Instagram and continued to post reels on the social media platform. Dhanalakshmi is also an aspiring actor with multiple short film appearances. Dhanalakshmi’s appearance in music videos of Sean Roldan is also noteworthy. She is the third commoner to enter the BB house as a contestant this season.
