HERE IT IS: The Trailer Of The Much Awaited Madhavan’s Rocketry!

Two years ago, Madhavan announced that he will be taking over the director’s reins for his next film Rocketry: The Nambi Effect – the biopic on ISRO scientist Nambi Narayanan. The director Ananth Mahadevan had to quit due to unavoidable circumstances and Madhavan, who is also the lead actor, took over as the director. Needless to say, he says he’s pretty nervous but the enormous words of encouragement around helped him create this masterpiece.

The trailer of the film has released and is receiving immense appreciation from all around. The close to three minute trailer starts of with actor Suriya, who plays a cameo as a journalist interviewing Madhavan, who plays Nambi Narayanan, a rocket scientist in the film. It gives us glimpses of the difficult journey the space engineer Nambi Narayanan went through in his real life. Watch it below:

Several from the film industry including Mahesh Babu, Samantha Akkineni, Radikaa Sarathkumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Pushkar and Gayathri, Kangana Ranaut, Archana Kalpathi, Prasanna and Bipasha Basu among others poured in hearty wishes.

Rocketry is about an extraordinary man named Nambi Narayanan. It is reported that in 1994, he was falsely charged with espionage and arrested but the charges were dropped by the CBI two years later, and he was declared not guilty in 1998. The film will focus on the scientist’s life and the ISRO espionage case. It has been made in Tamil, Hindi and English. The multi-lingual film will focus on how Nambi Narayanan was in-charge of the cryogenics division.

Madhavan was last seen in the film Maara alongside Shraddha Srinath. The film was an OTT release and was well-received by the audience.
