However, Varalakshmi had other ways to celebrate her birthday. In an event conducted by Rotary Club and Roteract CLub at DG Vaishnav College, Varu has announced to take up the expenses of arranging free sanitary pads in 35 schools and 12 colleges.
Ever since she began the #SaveShakthi campaign, the actress has been busy promoting women empowerment and spreading awareness about girl child and women safety.
