  • Aayirathil Oruvan (2010)

Following his biggest hit, the actor did a fantasy film with Director Selvaraghavan. In this film, Karthi was a taskmaster and leads a team of portals in a high-risk archaeology mission. Well researched and delivered, Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru is not a usual cop story. The film narrates a real-life police operation conducted by the Tamil Nadu cops in the early 2000s. Directed by H Vinoth, the film was unanimously appreciated by critics and eventually went on to become a commercial hit. And it has Karthi delivering one of the best performances of his film career.
