After a series of flops, Karthi gave a comeback with Pa Ranjith’s Madras. Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru (2017)

Well researched and delivered, Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru is not a usual cop story. The film narrates a real-life police operation conducted by the Tamil Nadu cops in the early 2000s. Directed by H Vinoth, the film was unanimously appreciated by critics and eventually went on to become a commercial hit. And it has Karthi delivering one of the best performances of his film career.
