July 7 is a special date for Sridevi as she stepped into the film industry on the same day exactly 50 years ago. Not only is it going to be 50 years for Sridevi in the industry, but also Mom will be her 300^th film to be made.

The actress was last seen in the movie ‘Puli’ alongside Ilayathalapathy Vijay, Hansika and Shruti Haasan. There are also reports that Sridevi rejected the role of Sivagamai Devi in the ‘Bahubali’ series as her demand of Rs. 6 crores was not accepted by Rajamouli.
