Nayanthara is usually not someone who gives out a lot of interviews but, in a recent, Times of India reported that during an interview, the actress talked about how she regretted doing the role of Chitra in Suriya starrer ‘Ghajini’. She further added that the decision to do this role in ‘Ghajini’ was the worst decision of her career. She said that the character when narrated to her was a world different from what was actually shown onscreen.
Ever since, she added that she has been extremely careful when choosing roles especially multi-starrers. She has apparently also made it a point to listen to scripts more carefully.
She also stated that she had her doubts and second thoughts when she chose to do P Vasu’s ‘Chandramukhi’ and a song with Vijay in ‘Sivakasi’. However, she said that it was a great break in her career as these films performed really well.
Apart from ‘Mr.Local’, Nayanthara is shooting for ‘Thalapathy 63’ alongside Vijay and Atlee and Rajinikanth ‘starrer ‘Darbar’ directed by AR Murugadoss. She also has a malayalam film in her kitty, ‘Love, Action, Drama’ alongside Nivin Pauly.
