Known to many, Prabhu Deva and Nayanthara were in a relationship for quite a long time and also in a serious one. According to reports, Prabhu Deva’s wife Ramlath filed a legal case against him and urged the court to direct Prabhu Deva to live with her. In a statement, she said that Prabhu Deva would never come home to his kids or her, which urged her to take up this decision. This urged them to break-up and had to drop their plans of getting married. After her successful comeback in ‘ Raja Rani ‘ and ‘ Arrambam ‘ in 2013 ever since she has been unbeatable and is now fondly known as the Lady Superstar of the Kollywood film industry.

Nayanthara was asked if her relationship with PrabhaDheva affected after reports started doing rounds of them having problems because of his ex-wife and that she didn’t agree with him on certain things.  To this, she replied, “Yes. Like I said, it’s your personal space. Just because you are actors or in the show business doesn’t mean that your private life is on show for everyone else. Whatever we share with each other is private and when any news leaks out, it’s blown out of proportion and made out to be something else.”

She further added, “Bad things written about me do bother me and affect me but then I have learnt to take it in my stride. I have also learnt to keep quiet about certain things. Once I start saying something, it’ll turn into a never-ending story of he said, she said, they said.”

Nayanthara is now happily in a relationship with writer and director Vignesh Shivan. The couple is currently living together. The duo met during the sets of Naanum Rowdy Dhaan and then on fell in love. Nayanthara now has Kaathuvaakkula Rendu Kadhal, Netri Kann and Annaathae with Superstar Rajinikanth.
