After enjoying the sweet success of ‘Mersal’ and ‘Raju Gari Gadhi 2’, Samantha is busy shooting for two huge movies simultaneously – ‘Mahanathi’ and ‘Irumbu Thirai’. It was also earlier confirmed that she would be doing the film of ‘Aaranya Kaandam’ fame Thiagarajan Kumararaja which was earlier titled ‘Aneedhi Kadhaigal’. However, the title has now been changed to ‘Super Deluxe’ which stars Vijay Sethupathi and Fahadh Faasil in the lead as well.

In a recent, the director revealed the first look of Sam’s character Vaembu. Earlier, the ‘Ye Maya Chesave’ actress had given her fans a sneak peek into the character where Sam is seen holding a butcher’s knife. Following that, the director released a video introducing Vaembu to the audience. Have a look:

Are you not curious already? Will she kill him, will she not? However, we are really excited to see Vaembu on screen alongside Vijay Sethupathi and Fahadh. Actors like Nadia, Mysskin, and Ramya Krishnan will also be seen playing a pivotal role in the film.

Apart from that, Samantha will be seen shooting for Ponram’s next alongside Sivakarthikeyan, ‘Rangasthalam’ alongside Ram Charan Teja and a recent film she signed which is a remake of the Kannada film ‘U-Turn’ which starred Shraddha Srinath in the lead.
