Dhanush has started shooting for the Hollywood film, The Extraordinary Journey Of The Fakir. He was spotted in Mumbai and pictures of him have been going viral. The English movie will be one of the most zealous Hollywood movies ever. The film is based on the novel, The Extraordinary Journey of the Fakir who got Trapped in an Ikea Wardrobe written by Romaine Puértolas. The story is about a fakir who tricks people into believing he has special powers.

The movie was announced last year and since then many changes have brought to the cast of the movie. At the beginning, France-based filmmaker, Marjane Satrapi was to be the director of the movie. However, he was later replaced by the director, Ken Scott.

Dhanush will be playing the lead character along with Uma Thurman and Alexandra Daddario. “What’s great is I get to work with a great actor, Dhanush, who is a huge star in India, he’s a great actor, but also a great dancer, a great singer, he has a unique way of dancing and moving, he’s just very charming,” Ken Scott said to Variety. 

 

 

Dhanush has just recently released his movie ‘Pa Paandi’ and fixed on a schedule for his gangster flick with Vetrimaaran, ‘Vada Chennai’. He is also expected to start shooting for ‘Maari 2’ from August. Looks like it will be a busy year for Dhanush.
