Fashion Report Card : Decoding Deepika’s Style!

Surrounded by crazy controversy, Deepika Padukone gives her haters a break with spectacular promotional looks his week. Its sad that our country has reached a level of intolerance with respect to the entertainment industry, that other more important issues have taken a backseat. The growing popularity of the films is challenging certain communities that have threatened to even behead the actress and the film’s director.

Keeping the unnecessary noise around at her at bay, Deepika gave us 5 spectacular looks this week that we cant seem to stop aww-ing. Here is this week’s report card featuring her exclusively :

Starting promotions for her film, Deepika stepped out in a Rimple & Harpreet Narula’s handcrafted ivory Chanderi Sharara that looked fabulous. The lady is a master of nude and subtle shades and somehow brings so much radiance to her ensemble that we hardly miss any color.

Talk about some colour and she brings it all to the table at once. Wearing a hibiscus silk cady asymmetric one-shoulder gathered knot tie blouse with extended sash and the dahlia laminated cotton relaxed work wear trouser with the hibiscus patent leather belt by Prabal Gurung, Deepika nails this chic smart look to perfection.

Seems like coral is her best friend in this silk empress gown by Bibhu Mohapatra. The dramatic sleeves, the long  train, the pulled back hair and the gorgeous lip shade make this look one of the best this week.

Deepika Padukone picks metallic shades of gold and silver to go together in this striped zari Benarasi silk Khamlesh sari. Side parted ponytail and the breathtaking jewellery makes us not want to take our eyes off of her.

After all the dolling up, Deepika decided to dress it down for an occasion in a solid red maxi dress from her own label AllAboutYou from Deepika Padukone. Its freshness redefined with some classic statement jewellery.
