Our January cover features the gorgeous Rakul Preet Singh and we cannot be more delighted! The excitement for the shoot was that of the feel of a wedding. The biggest challenge was the race against time. We had a definite time frame within which we had to call the wraps. However, that did not deter with the spirits of the entire team. The banquet hall of Hotel Holiday Inn was filled with men from Marriage Colours décor, setting up the backdrop and a framework of a mandap. The Photographer Kunal Daswani along with his associates were craning to get the perfect frame, while the ladies, the stylist Ekta Nahar and Samantha Jagan, Make and Hair artist were ensuring that they nail the looks. And Rakul Preet the cover girl was all patient and cooperative sandwiching an interesting interaction for an exclusive interview. Guess what? We wrapped up in time and this was possible because everyone worked towards a single goal – a fabulous cover and story! Which is your favourite look?

The Looks
Mehndi :
What better way than to flaunt it on your Mehendi or your sangeet day; a day filled with fun and frolic. Rakul dazzles in a diamond neckpiece from VBJ adding that regal touch to the pearl embellished crop top over the floral lehnga.
Reception:
A beautiful emerald green gown paired with some classic Jadau jewellery from completes the classic evening look. This ravishing Heroine nails the Reception look which is all about being classy.
Wedding:
There is nothing like sticking to tradition, however, Rakul here flaunts the look with a little twist in keeping with the modern trend. A beautiful silk saree paired with a quirky off shoulder blouse is just the trend for the brides who want to make a statement.

Clad in a Sexy rust orange gown complimented with some beautifully crafted diamond earring and cocktail finger rings from VBJ, Rakul is all set for a fabulous evening!
