Exclusive: Reason For Akhil Akkineni-Shriya Bhupal’s Break-Up Revealed!

It shook all of the film fraternity and fans when reports claimed that Akhil Akkineni decided to call off his wedding. The darling boy of Amala Akkineni, Akhil had been dating Shriya Bhupal for two years before they confessed their love to parents. The engagement ceremony was a royal affair and it was attended by about 200 odd guests consisting family members and friends of the film and business fraternity. The event also had Anup and playback singer Ankit Tiwari performing.The engagement ceremony had some A-listers on the guest list. From Shilpa Reddy to Samantha, many graced the ceremony of the duo.

The couple had planned to have a destination wedding in Italy. About 600 guests were expected to fly to the wedding destination.Although the families have not released any official statements, sources close to them claim that the wedding has indeed been called off.

It is speculated that the reason for their decision was due to the conflict between the families regarding the wedding preparations and arrangements. Also according to reports, the 22-year-old Akhil who had been dating the 24-year-old Shriya for quite some time now had a lot of compatibility issues which with her which has ended the relationship.

The family had dual celebrations in the past few months as Naga Chaitanya, Akhil’s step-brother, also opened up about his relationship with Kollywood beauty Samantha Ruth Prabhu. The couple got engaged on January 29th, 2017 and much like Akhil’s, Naga Chaitanya and Samantha’s engagement ceremony was a grand one.
