The teaser for Pa Ranjith’s next movie, Natchathiram Nagargirathu was released by all the actors and the director himself recently on Instagram. The film seems to be some kind of take on Love, along with theatre artists or actors. While the idea of the film is still not established, we know that Kalidas Jayaram, Dushara Vijayan, Kalaiyarasan, amongst others are a part of this project.

Sharing about her character Rene in the film, Dushara Vijayan opened up on Instagram with the teaser. She said, “Confidence is her charisma, and being herself is her mantra. She is an outspoken girl with a heart free from blemishes. Meet Rene! The resonance and reflections of the purest soul. I experienced the pinnacle of ectasy while entering the world of Rene through its visionary gatekeeper @ranjithpa sir. A phenomenal experience for me and the other co-stars, who found themselves immersed in the soul of their characters. The experience of working in this movie will unceasingly brew in our memories for the years to come. Rene is more like my twin from the other universe called Natchathiram Nagargirathu, and we share a lot of identical traits. The movie will endow audiences with a new-dimensional premise as we introduce them to the world of theater. I am glad that I have got an opportunity to represent @ranjithpa sir’s visualization of ‘Rene’. I feel blessed to be a part of cinema, which as an alchemist, keeps making me versatile as a performer and better as a human being.”

She then also shared a poster with her character reveal, again on Instagram. The shooting for the film has been wrapped and it is apparently in its post-production stage. The film’s cover, teaser and poster have a unique portrayal with the rainbow colours, stating their views on LGBTQ relationships boldly.

On the work front, the Sarpatta Parambarai star is awaiting the release of Anbulla Ghilli, along with this film. She is also filming for another movie called Aneethi.
