Dushara Vijayan just saw the release of her latest film directed by Pa Ranjith. She rose to fame with her debut itself as Mariyammal in Sarpatta Parambarai. In Ranjith’s latest Natchathiram Nagargiradhu she has played the role of Rene and has co-starred with Kalidas Jayaram. The couple acting and chemistry was considered to be kickass. Now, the two are reportedly all set to star in yet another film.

The two actors are reportedly to star together in Balaji Mohan’s next. Balaji Mohan is known for his films like Maari, Kaadhalil Sodhappuvadhu Yeppadi,  and Vaayai Moodi Pesavum. The news that the two are to unite again was reportedly revealed by Kalidas Jayaram. In a recent interview in relation to the film, Kalidas revealed that he will be acting with Dushara again in Balaji Mohan’s next. We however await official confirmation.

Dushara is also playing the female lead in Vasanthabalan’s ‘Aneethi’ in which Arjun Das plays the male lead. Kalidas Jayaram who was last seen as the lead in Kiruthiga Udayanidhi’s Paper Rocket is currently shooting for an untitled film costarring Arjun Das directed by Bejoy Nambiar.

Dushara started her career with Bodhai yeri Budhi Maari and Anbulla Ghilli. However her first release was Sarpatta Parambarai, through which she gained fame. Kalidas is meanwhile also filming for a Malayalam film called Rajni.
