Nithya Menen and Dulquer Salmaan are the most celebrated onscreen couple in both Malayalam and Tamil. The duo has done two films together till now namely 100 Days of Love and OK Kanmani. In a recent interview with an entertainment portal, Nithya Menen opened up about hee experience shooting for OK Kanmani, director Mani Ratnam and her friendship with Dulquer Salmaan.

“Mani sir got the best out of me by just letting me be. How my character in the film, Tara, views life is close to how I do. Many scenes did not make it to the final edit, but they were all scenes that helped me connect with the character,” she stated. “He is a proper family guy, and told me how great his marriage is and tried to convince me to get married too. Our chemistry in films just happened on screen. Even we were surprised when we saw the final output,” said Nithya Menen about her favourite costar.

On the professional front, Nithya Menen has two Malayalam releases namely Kolaambidirected by T.K. Rajeev Kumar and Aaram Thirukalpanawhich is touted to be crime fiction.
